The GLBT Professional Network maintains two email lists for its members.
One is for announcements only, the other an open forum for discussion.
GLBT-PN-ANNOUNCE
This list, glbt-pn-announce@listserv.tamu.edu,
is used by the GLBT Professional Network Executive Committee to distribute
information (meetings, upcoming events, or issues affecting GLBTs at TAMU)
to the membership of the organization. We do try to keep traffic at a minimum,
but will forward notices of non-GLBT Professional Network events which may
be of special interest to our members, if deemed appropriate. Please send
any announcements to glbt-pn@tamu.edu
for distribution, not to the list address. To be added to this list, send
email to glbt-pn@tamu.edu and ask
to be put on the announcement list.
GLBT-PN-DISCUSS
This is the discussion list for our members. Because it is not a moderated
list, nor restricted in daily volume, members of GLBT Professional Network
interested in joining the discussions need to contact us at glbt-pn-discuss@listserv.tamu.edu.
Note that because this is for members of our organization only, you will
not be allowed to post or receive messages until you have also been subscribed
to the announcement list. New requests for subscribing to the announce
list
will NOT automatically subscribe you to the discussion
list. You can add yourself to the discuss list later. Once subscribed,
you may post by sending an email (from your subscribed address) to
glbt-pn-discuss@listserv.tamu.edu.
Other Lists
There are other lists for discussion or announcements. The Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Aggies (an undergraduate group)
has an announcement list for their members, and others interested in notices
for their upcoming events; ALLIES
also has an announcement list for their members.
